Our friend, and Gen’s work coleague, Paul Davies will be running the Birmingham Half Marathon on Sunday 19th October in aid of Eye Survive.
Paul works as a computer teacher for ComputerXplorers in Anglesey Primary School, having worked 9 years in the secondary sector. His wife Melanie and two daughters Amelia (11) and Scarlet (8) will be cheering for him!
When we asked Paul about his running pedigree he said: “Running pedigree – well I wouldnt call it that. I started running to lose a serious amount of weight and have lost just over 4 stones. I started doing 5K runs and have now completed six half marathons getting quicker each time – the last one being 2hrs dead. I just want to finish this one – time doesnt matter but the fund raising does.”
Good luck in your run Paul and all the best from the Eye Survive Team!
